Caramel Cake

1 box german chocolate cake mix
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cube butter
50 caramels
1 cup chocolate chips or more

Mix cake mix, cube butter (melted) and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk. Pour 1/2 in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees.

In a microwave bowl, unwrap caramels and place in bowl with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Melt in microwave. (about 4 minutes, stir after 2)

Pour caramel and sprinkle chocolate chips over base layer of cake. Pour remaining cake batter over top of cake. Bake for 16 minutes at 350 degrees.
