Shepherd's Pie

She brought us her shepherds pie for dinner right after Reese was born.  It was so good!  and hearty, it lasted our family for two meals.

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 bottle tomatoes, drained
1 bottle corn
4 cups mashed potatoes
grated cheese

Brown the meat, onions and peppers.  Drain.  Add soup, corn and tomatoes.  Simmer 10 minutes.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pour into 9x13 and top with potatoes and cheese.  Bake for 40 minutes.
