Crockpot Italian Pork Chops

6 1 inch pork chops

1 T. oil

1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms

1 medium onion chopped

1 clove of chopped garlic

2 8 oz cans tomato sauce

1 T. lemon juice

1/2 tsp salt

1 T. parsley flakes

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp basil

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 cup water

Trim fat from pork chops and brown them in oil in a skillet. Place mushrooms, onions, and garlic in the bottom of the crockpot. Arrange pork chops on top to the veggies in the crockpot. Then mix the rest of the sauce ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pork chops. Cook on low for 8 hours and high for 4 hours. Serve over cooked rice.
