Super Pie Crust

3 cups flour

1 tsp. salt

1 scant TB sugar

1 ½ cups shortening (scant)

1 egg

ice cold water

Combine flour, sugar and salt. Add shortening and cut into each other until real crumbly. Beat the egg and put into a measuring cup. Add enough ice water to the egg to make ¾ cup liquid. Mix liquid into flour mixture. This dough is moist so use a generous amount of flour on the work area when rolling out. Makes 3 pies.
