Pork Chops Mexicana

6 pork chops

1 tsp salt

¾ cups uncooked rice

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can tomato sauce and 1 cup water

1/3 pkg. taco seasoning

Brown pork chops in skillet. Arrange in 9x13 pan. Season with salt. Sprinkle rice around chops. Combine tomato sauce, taco seasoning and water. Pour over chops and rice. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Remove from oven and cover with cheese over surface. Cover and cook another 10-15 minutes.
