Ooey Gooey Chex Mix

“He’s making a list and CHEX ing it twice.  He’s gonna find out that you guys are nice.”

1 box corn Chex (14 oz)
1 box Golden Grahams (16 oz)
1 bag coconut
2 c slivered almonds

Mix together in a large bowl.
Then, in a saucepan mix:

2 cubes and 2 TB butter
1 1/2 cups Karo syrup
1 1/2 cups white sugar

Heat and boil for 2 minutes
Remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla

Pour over the dry mix and stir.  Mix together with hands.  A few minutes after it cools, mix again.
