Whole Wheat Blender Waffles

We make these often!  It's a great food storage recipe! Not to mention, they are healthier and much more filling than your average waffle or pancake.

1 c whole wheat white berries (not the flour, just the berries)
1 1/2 c milk
2 eggs
1 tsp sugar
1 TB baking powder
1/4 c oil
3/4 c salt
Put wheat berries and one cup of milk into a blender.  Blend on high for 3 minutes.  Add 1/2 cup milk and blend additional 2 minutes.  Add remaining ingredients, blend quickly, and cook on a hot waffle iron until golden brown.  (Or on a griddle as pancakes)
