Play Dough

Mrs. Purzycki (Alaina's kindergarten teacher)

Mix in pan:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp cream of tartar

Mix together and add:
2 TB of cooking oil
1 cup water
Food coloring (paste coloring has the best color)

Mixing kool-aid in the water makes the dough scented. Three to four TB of cinnamon added to the oil makes it smell wonderful and makes it brown.

Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Stir continually. . The play dough will be thick mashed potato consistency and will look like pie dough when done. Knead when partially cooled. Wrap in a plastic baggie or plastic wrap.
